Project Assistant II (Media Production)

The appointee will (a) work on video production for positive education programmes; (b) develop and maintain video and computer equipment inventory; (c) work closely with the research team and the community outreach team under the supervision of the Project PI; (d) provide technical support for the programmes and perform other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained" or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (ii) a Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Digital Media, Broadcast, Film and TV or related disciplines, or equivalent from a recognised university or technical institute; (iii) fast and accurate typing; (iv) technical knowledge of operating digital video equipment (experience with lighting and shooting on DSLRs and other HD cameras); (v) experience with filming equipment management; and (vi) proficiency in editing tools, such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Audio Audition.  At least 1 year’s work experience in the media, film and TV industries is preferred.  Capability of using other Adobe applications, e.g. Photoshop and Illustrator, will be advantageous.

Appointment will be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
