The appointee will be responsible for working with specific groups of clients including children and adolescent with SEN (special education needs), parents of children with SEN and people with mental health problems. He/she will be responsible for providing administrative support to projects which include handling enquiries and communicate with clients, parents of children with SEN, and other stakeholders. He/she will require to assist in processing finance and HR related forms, plan and coordinate projects; provide administrative support to events and functions; maintain records and support the effective management of information in the Office; schedule meetings; supervise student helpers; and perform other duties as assigned by supervising officers. The initial appointment will be for a period of 12 months with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related discipline. They should have the abilities and willingness to support colleagues in the Department in developing and running research studies, and in producing research outputs. They should also have highly developed communication and writing skills in both English and Cantonese, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a good team member. Candidate should also have good knowledge of using SPSS for data analysis.
