InnoPort, a building situated right next to the University Station, is commencing operation in mid-2020 to strengthen the entrepreneurial culture on campus. Operated by the Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services, this building will enable the aggregation of entrepreneurship training, innovation support and start-up services at CUHK. InnoPort will be the centre for relevant events, competitions and exhibitions for faculty members and students, facilitating engagements as well as internal and external promotions that would add value to our entrepreneurial community. We are hiring a team member reporting to the Executive Officer to (1) work with stakeholders and partners on campus; (2) assist in the development of policies and procedures where necessary; and (3) provide a conducive environment and facilitate the member-to-member and member-to-partner connections. 
The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting in marketing and publicity of InnoPort, such as on social media; (b) co-ordinating and working with different stakeholders on events, such as exhibitions, press conferences, visits, etc.; (c) assisting in website/app management and copywriting; (d) assisting in the daily operations and management of facilities; (e) providing administrative support to the management committee and/or advisory board; (f) assisting in creating a friendly and engaging environment; and (g) performing other tasks as assigned. 
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree or above; (ii) at least 2 years’ post-qualification work experience in administration or marketing; (iii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); (iv) self-motivation and the ability to meet deadlines; (v) good communication, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills; (vi) the ability to work independently and as a team member; and (vii) proficiency in Chinese word-processing and computer applications, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and website/app management will be advantageous. 
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
