About the Role


 

Reporting to Asia People Strategy Programme Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and management of the Asia People Strategy in the region. Building on the Group People Strategy, you will partner with cross-functional teams and different APAC HR teams to support combining all people-related activities in Asia under one overarching framework via a strategic multi-year implementation plan.


 

  • Support the implementation of the Asia People Strategy by setting up and delivering project management and change management activities through collaboration with the Asia Ambition Project Management Office (PMO) and different teams within the HR function
  • Help to deliver all project management related aspects of the HR workstream under the China Steering Committee as crucial project within the Asia People Strategy
  • Define and deliver communication plan for the Asia People Strategy in partnership with Group Communications and other internal teams as required
  • Contribute to all aspects of the Asia People Strategy, including preparing funding estimates for interventions, managing stakeholders' input, and support regular deliverables and proposals to Regional Board, Regional President, Asia Management Team and other committees as appropriate
  • Support management of cross-functional Asia People Strategy project team, the wider HR Function and help to set up and ensure efficient onboarding and offboarding mechanism for all team members
  • Help to measure and monitor progress and success of implemented HR solutions and products under the Asia People Strategy
  • Gather people metrics, external intelligence and macro human capital trends and benchmarks on people impact and best practices in the region
  • Build and leverage capabilities such as change mangement, project management, process optimization, etc in the HR teams to enable them to support the business in executing strategic growth
  • Support Asia People Strategy Programme Lead in other strategic projects and initiatives in the region as required

 

About the Team


 

You will be a member of the Regional HR Function for APAC and contribute to the Asia People Strategy and broader agenda of the HR organisation by working with different HR teams and cross functional project teams in the region.


 

About You


 

  • 3 - 6 years' experience as 'hands-on' project management professional with profound knowledge of HR management processes and philosophies in a global business environement
  • University degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Consulting or Statistics
  • Strong project management, change management and communication experience
  • First experiences in successful implementation of HR-related projects with strong focus on planning, execution and results tracking
  • Demonstrate a business-oriented approach, understand customer issues and concerns and actively seek to address them in developing solutions
  • Interest, credibility and ability to bridge between HR and the business
  • Ability to lead improvements initiatives and think outside of the box
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills, a collaborative team player
  • Global understanding and mindset, but has an understanding and appreciation for local requirements
  • Work well in a dynamic environment with changing priorities; able to work with ambiguity and in a highly matrixed environment
  • Proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills, savvy learner of new technology and tools
  • Fluent in written and spoken Business English; proficiency in Asian languages will be an asset
