Job Description
Reporting to the direct supervisor, the appointee will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Job brief

We are looking for an accountable Project Engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.


  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate, monitor & costs control the assigned engineering projects;
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications;
  • Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field;
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status;
  • Tender Document preparation;
  • Assign responsibilities and mentor project team;
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs;
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks;
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support;
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders.

Requirements - Qualification:

  • Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experiences on power plant, process plant or any infrastructure M&E projects (Candidates with less experiences could be considered as Assistant Engineer);
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office and Excel;
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects;
  • Good Project management and supervision;
  • Decision making ability and leadership;
  • Time management and organization skills;
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills;
  • Work independently under pressure & accountability.
