Project Engineer

Principal responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to Manager in Faiveley railway projects and workshop
• Attend clients meeting and give technical input in providing solution and/or improvement. Liaise with France design office regarding system issue if required
• Coordinate with various parties for project execution
• Prepare various documents, including investigation report to submit to clients
• Supervise Field Service team and sub-contractor (5- 8 members), ensure production process fulfill standard
• Ad hoc assignments from the company

Requirements :

• Degree or diploma in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering. Qualification from IVE, with sound HVAC experience / knowledge will also be considered
• 3-5 relevant working experience, hands on experience in reading drawings. Experience in railway or related industry is a definite advantage.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Required to be on-site (railway depots and company workshop)
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with all levels of personnel
• Good team player, responsible, diplomatic, proactive and able to work independently under minimal supervision
• 5 days work
