Project Management Officer (1 year contract, work in Govt Office)

  • To provide administrative and executive support to the funding scheme
  • To provide secretariat support to the assessment panel of the funding scheme
  • To assist in monitoring the spending position and working progress of each funded project
  • To assist in processing the financial and accounting matters of the funding scheme
  • To assist in monitoring the cash flow of the funding scheme
  • To assist in compiling reports on the work of the funding scheme
  • To answer public enquiries and liaise with the fund recipients
  • To assist in publishing information related to the funding scheme online
  • To perform any other duties as assigned by representative of the department


  • A bachelor’s degree from a local university, or equivalent. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ post qualification full-time working experience in project management with job records. Solid experience in accounting, funding scheme applications processing and/ or funding scheme management is preferred
  • Leave 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the HKDSE, or equivalent
  • Fluency in spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin and a good command of written Chinese and English
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact with various non-government organisations, community organisations and the general public
  • Good knowledge in practical computer skills, e.g. MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access is a must. Ability to design web page is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and systematically
  • Patient, careful and responsible manners
