Project Manager (2-year fixed term contract)

Minimum 8 years demonstrated experiences in business / retail industries
Strong project management skills including the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
Strong planning, leadership, organisational skills and communication skills
Experience in delivery across a program lifecycle
Demonstrated experience in leading sustainable change
Strong experience in stakeholder management and communication
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations and communicate with influence.
Proven ability to work effectively in an environment of high activity, competing priorities and time pressures.
Specific expertise in Merchandise, Marketing and Sourcing strongly regarded.
Tertiary qualification preferred (e.g. Finance, business, project management)
Excellent language skill in English and Cantonese

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead cross-functional strategic initiatives including launching new services, large-scale operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering and organisational change
  • Define project scope, activity planning & sequencing, resource plan, schedule, cost/budget, governance process, pilot approach and overall project management plan
  • Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, methodology applied and work with business partners to oversee all phases of a project directly
  • Ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, scope, cost and quality parameters to deliver required outcomes. Validates financials and provides ongoing reconciliation of project expenditure.
  • Apply a structured approach to change management process and tools creating a strategy to support adoption of the changes required at initiative level with consideration of wider portfolio.
  • Conduct impact analysis, assess change readiness identify key stakeholders and customer impacts for initiatives. Use this to define, execute and implement the plan engaging project stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate success of project, conduct and socialize post implementation review, support warranty period.
  • Responsible for direction setting, coordination and management of the project team. Support and facilitate delivery, change management, stakeholder management and benefit realisation.
  • Balance competing agendas and priorities across numerous strategic initiatives to ensure an effective and successful delivery of quality business solutions.
