Project Manager (PM/AU)

Crossings Executive Search

Responsibility:

  • Reporting to the Head of Operations and Establishing/leading cross-functional strategic initiatives. Including launching new services, large-scale operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering and organisational change
  • Drive Project Initiation (plan & design), Execution, and Outcomes rigorously and in a timely fashion meeting quality and budget parameters.
  • Lead change management activities
  • Project Closure – evaluate success of project, conduct and socialize post implementation review, support warranty period.
  • Project Team Management – Responsible for direction setting and stakeholder management
  • Balance competing agendas and priorities across numerous strategic initiatives to ensure an effective and successful delivery of quality business solutions.
  • Effective communication to ensure all key stakeholders are updated on progress, issues, change management considerations and financial impacts on a regular basis.
  • Consider the organisation strategy, structure, process and culture when diagnosing change including organisational, individual, geographical and cultural forces.
  • Be agile and adaptive in response to changing stakeholder & customer needs
  • Ensure risks within the project are assessed, mitigated and monitored to ensure sustainable business and customer outcomes while maintaining quality
  • Lead by example, actively promoting and reinforcing the importance of compliance

Requirements:

  • Good project management skills including the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Strong planning, leadership and organisational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in delivery across a program lifecycle
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management and communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations and communicate with influence.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in an environment of high activity, competing priorities and time pressures.
  • Minimum 8 years demonstrated experiences in business / retail industries
  • Specific expertise in Merchandise, Marketing and Sourcing strongly regarded.
