Responsibilities:

  • Master the different phases of a project life cycle form scoping to execution
  • Lead change initiation, design and delivery and is ultimately accountable for successful delivery of various regional and cross-team projects and ensuring benefits realisation
  • Develop and manage project management plan and delivery proactively, balance scopes, timeline, resources, costs, risk and issues, inter-dependencies, assumptions etc.
  • Influence strategy and shape the approach across a series of projects or component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes
  • Establish effective project controls and procedures
  • Set high expectations concerning quality and put in place quality assurance processes
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers
  • Report progress, issues, dependencies and risks to management and steering committees and make recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realization
  • Assist Team / Division Head in advising and reviewing project requirements and play a solution architect’s role
  • Support Team Head / Division Head in ad hoc assignments
  • Keep abreast of relevant latest regulatory requirements, industry initiatives, requirements and protocols, and relevant solutions in best effort
  • Follow relevant policies, procedures and guidelines in performing the above responsibilities at all times.

Requirements

  • University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum of three years solid banking experience in project management, operation process optimization and business transformation preferred
  • Strong banking sense and self-motivated with good analytical and project management skills and be able to work independently
  • Good understanding of project methodology, frameworks and best practice
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skillsProficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese. Mandarin is an advantageExperience of PMP implementation, lean six sigma or ISO quality certification preferableFamiliar with Lotus Note, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Visio or Minitab is a plus
