Project Officer (Ref. 220801006)

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) support in organising, coordinating and implementing events, meetings, seminars, conference, promotion, projects and marketing activities of the Office;

(b) liaise with academic and research communities, vendors, agencies and other stakeholders proactively and independently to enable effective communication and promotion of projects and research;

(c) support and assist in social media platform management, create contents and advertisement campaigns, etc., to promote University’s research excellence;

(d) assist in website update for the Office, high-quality marketing and promotion for University’s research output as well as prepare e-newsletters, videos and reports for the Office;

(e) provide related administrative support, including branding, publicity and events, etc.;

(f) support the operation of the Office, including database maintenance, and handling enquiries and promotional related activities; and

(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Research and Innovation or his/her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a) a recognised degree;

(b) at least three years’ post-qualification relevant work experience, preferably with experience in event and marketing/promotion support, or corporate communication and administration;

(c) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;

(d) a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills, be creative, highly independent and motivated; and

(e) good computer literacy and be familiar with MS Office.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
