The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Education Unit of the Library is established to support the University’s strategic mission to prepare students who are creative, innovative, intellectually active, entrepreneurial, socially caring and globally aware. The appointee will assist the Librarian in: a) setting up and operating the new Entrepreneurship and Innovation Education Unit; b) developing entrepreneurship and innovation education programmes in collaboration with academic departments, external stakeholders, donors and entrepreneurs for all EdUHK students; and c) developing networks and partnerships with potential donors, practitioners, corporations and NGOs in different industries. The appointment will be for a period of 18 months with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably a Master’s Degree, with relevant post-qualification working experiences. He/She should have strong communication and persuasive skills and experience in networking with external partners and donors. Applicants should be able to work independently and have strong organizational and presentation skills. Experience in managing projects related to entrepreneurship and innovation education would be an advantage.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave and outpatient medical benefits.
