Public Affairs Manager

Responsibilities

(Long Term Contract)

The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations and public affairs initiatives to create positive perception and word of mouth for Ocean Park and Water World Ocean Park. He/she will handle projects, briefings, events and press materials in relation to promotions, corporate communications, stakeholder and influencer engagement, issue management and the Park’s new developments. He/she will craft compelling content, build strong narratives, and formulate effective outreach strategies to maximise results and influence. He/she will work closely with subject experts and specialists at the Park on a variety of topics and media/social media opportunities to achieve communications goals through cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• University degree
• At least 10 years’ experience in public affairs or public relations, with 6 years and above as a team manager
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Excellent copywriting and content creation skills
• Proven track record in issue management
• Adept at event management
• Hands on, agile and able to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoys outdoor activities and water sports
• Available to work on weekends or public holidays for ad hoc assignments
