About the Job
The role of PR Manager is to utilize different marketing/PR tactics to have strong and continues positive influence to public to strengthen the IKEA brand and its competitive position. Lead strategies and develop impactful, relevant and unique executions that help to make optimal use.


About the Assignments

  • Create the PR strategy and the annual communication plan based on the country marketing plan, commercial priorities and market/consumer insights
  • Create continuous awareness and visibility of IKEA brand through range PR material, activities and events
  • Establishing and maintaining good relations with the media and connecting all the contacts throughout the year to optimize IKEA publicity coverage. Develop and implement all commercial PR activities and events and monitoring of it performance in all the markets.
  • Provide proper message and feedback to media when facing crisis and customer compliance issue
  • Ensure the quality and timelines of communication productions to meet the objective of each project. Develop and document project follow up and best practices for various purposes. Manage the budget and have a good sense of ROI
  • Be able to work closely with agencies and all other business partners


About you

We are looking for someone who are:

  • Passionate about people, home furnishing and life at home

  • Analytical, strategic and creative thinking
  • Ability to create and express communication insights
  • Ability to work with tight time schedules and used to high working pace
  • Above 10-year working experience in corporate and commercial PR
  • Experience in agency management
  • Experience in creating and implementing long-term communication strategic plans, setting budgets and following up goals
  • Experience in handling multiple projects at the same time with good schedule control
  • Experience in managing and coordinating consumer and media event
  • Compelling communicator both verbally and in writing
  • Fluent English and Mandarin, both oral and written
  • Self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
