Purchasing Clerk

Olympus Hong Kong and China Ltd

Responsibilities:

  • Mainly responsible for issuing PO and following up with vendor on the schedule to ensure timely delivery
  • To make adjustment with vendor for changing of delivery when necessary
  • To assist in checking the quality of items received as per Purchase Order description and specification
  • To follow up any defected goods to process return, correction or replenishment when needs arise
  • To assist in other ad-hoc assignments as required

Requirements:

  • Form 5 or above
  • 3 years relevant experience in Purchasing field (prior experience in  logistic/manufacturing industry will be an advantage)
  • Familiar with SAP; Proficiency in MS Office including Chinese word processing 
  • Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese
  • Meticulous, responsible and willing to learn, with positive working attitude as a good team player
