Purchasing Manager (Japanese speaking required)

The Job

  • Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedule, quality of goods, inventory control, shipment schedule and cost management, etc.
  • Responsible for sourcing of new products and update the market news
  • Maintain the existing suppliers in good relationship
  • Prepare the stock reports for regular review and update
  • Well planning for the order purchasing and shipment schedule
  • Working closely with internal user Departments to fulfill the business need
  • Lead the team to be strong in negotiation skills on business terms
  • Prepare the documents translation in Japanese, English and Chinese as required
  • Provide purchasing all round support and execute the ad. hoc assignments

The Person

  • Degree holder in any discipline
  • With 3 years related purchasing experience in FMCG industry
  • Excellent in Japanese oral speaking, writing and listening skills
  • Good communication, negotiation skills and strong business mind
  • Integrity, trustworthy, responsible and develop team spirit
  • With Japanese N1 level is a must
  • knowledge of SAP system will be the ideal
  • Proficiency in using Excel v-look up, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
