Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and monitor all purchasing activities

  • Issue and review purchase documents, e.g. purchase order, contract etc

  • Co-ordinate with Engineering department, Production departments, and suppliers in procurement

  • Carry out price negotiation and quality control

  • Prepare quotation and give recommendation on material costing

  • Monitor suppliers’ performance and sourcing network

  • Monitor delivery time and inventory control 

    Requirements:

  • University degree holder in Logistics Management, General Business & Administration, or related disciplines

  • 3 years in purchasing experience particularly in the PRC

  • Good knowledge in MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Putonghua

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

  • Willing to work under pressure and with strong emphasis on team work

  • Station in the PRC

  • Being responsible, initiative and committed

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Purchasing Supervisor.
