Purchasing Officer

Responsibilities:

- Handle enquiries/projects independently with suppliers
- Reporting to Supply Chain Manager
- Arrange quotations and samples according to customer requirement
- Organize existing products to prepare standard items categories
- Develop and source new product  upon department direction
- Follow up order and monitor inventory with ERP system – Microsoft Dynamics-NAV
- Handle and monitor shipments with forwarder and factories
- Maintain good relationship with suppliers and monitor product quality with  inspection
- Maintain strong business relationship with sales team, logistic team & purchasing team
- Travel to China may be required

Requirements:

- Degree holder in related disciplines
- 3-5 years work experience of purchasing / sourcing experience in garments / textile products
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin is a MUST
- Excellent command of computer literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be able to cope with a fast pace working environment and have effective time-management
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines with flexible approach to adapt the changes
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Willing to learn and strong sense of responsibility
- A good team player, Pro-active, Outgoing, Self-Motivated, Positive and Confident
