Job Scope:

  • Report to Director of Purchasing to process purchase requests for various departments to meet operations needs in a timely manner  
  • Assist in sourcing suppliers and keep abreast of the market trend in terms of technology development, government regulations and hotel market
  • Negotiate the best deal in terms of quality, pricing and delivery arrangement
  • Keep track of purchase order and assist the user departments to build up an optimal stock level
  • Assist in reviewing agreement terms and conditions to protect the hotel’s interest

Job Requirement:

  • With tertiary education background in Hospitality Management or relevant disciplines.
  • Strong in organizational, problem-solving, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Resourceful, aware on market trend and technology development of guest amenities, food items, outsourced hotel services and equipment  
  • With strong network with counterparts and vendors in hospitality / catering industry
  • Detail-minded in reviewing contract details ie. Pricing, payment terms, tendering and bidding document  
  • Well versed in SCM Procurement System and computer literacy
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Purchasing Officer
