RAD Developer - M/F VIE - Hong Kong

Mission

Your role

 
As a VIE, you will join ITEC department in a "DevOps" team and will be working in an Agile environment, you will be in charge of assisting all agents involved during the post trade life cycle. The team is automating users’ tasks by developing tools (Java / Python / VBA) with the objective having more efficient and secured processes and limit operational risk.
You will join a transversal team and work on different financial products (Equity, Exotic, Rates).

Each Developer is responsible for:
  • Gathering requirements, proposing solutions, developing and testing the validated solution
  • Proposing recommendations for process improvement
  • Ensuring that the code is actively maintained and up to date
Curious, autonomous and passionate, you understand the problems presented and use empirical thinking to identify root causes. You make use of your knowledge and experience to deliver ingenious, simple and efficient solutions.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell


This VIE in Hong Kong is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.

Your profile

You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University.

Ideally you have past experience in Project Organization.

You have Financial Products Knowledge.

You are fluent in English.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), JAVA, PYTHON and VBA (EXCEL).
