  • General management
    • Communicates the overall industry practice strategy and performance against established revenue and retention goals.
    • I mplementats specific industry business plan at country level and assists the Country CEO’s industry implementation plan and drives in country revenue and retention targets.
  • Client service and development.
    • Works with various Marsh resources, such as industry, specialty, placement, and insurer consulting groups, for the benefit of clients and prospects. Directs service to existing clients.
    • Maximizes the success of the practice by obtaining in-depth knowledge of the existing client base, the industry, current and emerging risks issues and communicates this to all industry team members, both client and sales executives. Develops relationships with most important clients in the practice.
    • Oversees client relationships to ensure client satisfaction through PAMS delivery and customized solutions.
    • Participates in meetings with carriers and placement personnel to ensure quality service and is responsible for the expanded use of and negotiations regarding exclusive industry broking service agreements.
    • Networks among the senior level executives of clients and prospects in order to become known as the subject matter expert and senior relationship office for the respective industry including the major clients.
    • Works closely with regional sales group. Personally, builds an economic buyer relationship with clients and prospects.
    • Personally participates, counsels and coaches other staff identified in the virtual industry practice and continually trains and develops the staff in the Buyer Engagement Framework.
  • Financial management.
    • Develops and is accountable for the budget and business plan for the regional industry practice.
    • Delivers the firm through identification of cross sell to clients through engagement at C-suite level and identification of key risk issues.
    • Drives greater retention of industry accounts by acting as a coach and mentor to in country CE’s and reviewing major accounts renewal strategy and assists in performing customer satisfaction surveys.
    • Drives revenue in individual capacity



  • With valid broker license
  • Diploma / Bachelor degree in insurance or equivalent discipline
  • At least 6 years’ working experience in broking industry
  • Good PC Skills, including Words, Excel & Power Point
  • Ambitious, solution focus and with strong skills in client relationship management
  • Language fluency in Mandarin and English. Ability to read and write Traditional and Simplified Chinese will be of added merit
