Reception Manager

Chinese Recreation Club Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the smooth operation of the reception counter.
  • Supervise the professional greeting of members and their guests to the highest standards.
  • Supervise customer services of the reception counter to provide courteous membership services and maintain good relations with members
  • Supervise the handling of in-coming telephone calls, member’s enquiries and requests  & bookings.
  • Provide logistic support for other departments and assist the promotion of the Club’s activities
  • Provide internal information to members and their guests as required, including Club’s facilities, regulations, policies and activities enrollment procedures.
  • Monitor discipline, attire and performance of all staff in the department.
  • Assist in promoting the Club’s image & collect comments from members and refer them to the management.
  • Monitor budget and ensure the financial policy and procedures are followed within the department.
  • Any other related membership services

Requirements:

  • Degree in Hotel Management is preferable
  • Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience of front desk in hotel/private clubs with knowledge in membership services 
  • Good leadership, time management and organizational skills in handling operational issues and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent problem solving and interpersonal communication skills, highly motivated and team focused
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
