Minimum qualifications:

  • MBA degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in analytical work in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, marketing/sales, or a business operations and analytics environment, including analyzing data with spreadsheet software (e.g. Google Sheets) and database query (e.g. SQL) experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in engaging across APAC markets and cultures
  • Understanding of digital marketing and Google’s products and sales programs
  • Ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion, while acting as an effective team player who can lead efforts across disciplines
  • Business acumen and communication skills; proficiency in translating data into actionable insights and digestible formats for the business

Google Customer Solutions (GCS) works with businesses of all sizes. Within GCS, the Revenue Strategy and Operations (RSO) team provides business-critical insights, ensures cross-functional alignment, and designs and executes new initiatives. As a Regional Business Analyst, you will be the expert on the data behind the APAC GCS business, and conduct deep-dive analysis to solve top-of-mind business challenges for the GCS Leadership team. You will work closely with the Project Leads and Strategy Managers to create insights that shape the future strategy of our business, optimize operations, and assess the impact of various initiatives. You will also be responsible for surfacing key business insights and recommendations in executive-level business reviews. In this role, you will transform data into digestible, actionable insights, and present this to broad audiences.

  • Conduct analysis and modeling to support country-level analytics and development of APAC GCS regional strategy.
  • Identify key growth drivers and optimization opportunities, and communicate findings to our regional leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (with Strategy Managers, other Analysts, and Sales Leads) to track the progress of strategic initiatives/program changes and to drive ad-hoc troubleshooting/problem solving.
  • Support annual business planning and resource management.
