My global leading client is looking for a Regional Compensation and Benefits Manager to join their team based in Hong Kong.


  • Coordinate and manage for the Region across business and function lines the year-end processes
  • Annual Compensation Review Process (salary review, variable, promotion)
  • Effective & timely communication throughout the process with relevant HR stakeholders at all levels
  • Plan, coordinate and implement each step of the process (budget exercise, preparation phase, envelops notification, proposal phase, committee review, to announcement) with implementation of adequate level of control
  • Analysis and statistical reports to support management decisions
  • Preparation of Regional Remunerations Committees
  • Annual Performance Appraisal Process, and Annual Review with respects to adherence to compliance and risk management
  • Coordinate annual salary bench marking exercise
  • Ensure proper control are in place in the C&B functions, with strong care given to buy-out / GB / Sign-on / Bid-back / Off-cycle increase / Good & Conditional Good Leaver status records and data accuracy in local tools, in anticipation of the CRP
  • Review and evaluate C&B policies and practice
  • Support and monitor the accounting consolidation process for defined benefit schemes
  • Handle ad hoc compensation and benefits initiatives
  • Serve as a regional support for technical compensation and benefits queries to ensure alignment to global/regional processes and procedures, taking into consideration local requirements as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with local, regional and global teams on C&B projects as required

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience out of which at least 8 years in compensation and benefits management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HRIS and C&B processes
  • Solid experience in formulating and implementing C&B initiatives
  • Strong planning, organisational and analytical skills, rigour and fast turnaround, strong numerical sense, detail and result oriented
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Ability to manage confidential information discretely
  • Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure while meeting deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of Finance and Accounting is a plus
  • Ability to build trusted effective and collaborative relationships with various stakeholders across the organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Team spirit
  • People management experience is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Ms Office (Excel/Words/Power Points, vba coding capability is a plus)
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
