Regional Head of Compliance - ANZ

This Sydney based role will see you lead a large team of Compliance professionals in ANZ. You will be responsible for team development and succession planning across the team, strong leadership and ability to partner with the business and other global and functional Compliance teams located in the region and elsewhere.

You will manage all regional regulator relationships, primarily ASIC, in relation to both policy and investigative matters, as well as managing relevant global and regional regulatory developments in conjunction with the Legal Group.

We would expect you to both inspire and provide direction to staff, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact by invigorating the function – taking it to the next level. You will need to have a proven ability for providing Compliance advice to senior stakeholders and manage relationships with credibility. You’ll also need to bring a deep understanding of financial services Compliance and the ability to influence and translate this into risk-based solutions.

You will have a good understanding of business drivers and a strategic capability to harmonize Compliance process with business needs and a proven track record for drive and delivery.
