Responsibilities:

Report directly to the COO, the Regional HR & Administration Manager will provide sound and effective human capital advisory for Asia. The position should also be hands-on in providing all rounded spectrum of human resources & office administrative services to the Regional Office in Hong Kong. The role is a crucial one in developing HR initiatives, managing employees’ relations and support, and driving HR functional excellence & process improvement for Asia.

      Human Resources

  • Functioning as the Head of HR in Hong Kong Regional Head Office, drive and execute HR strategies and initiatives to deliver professional services in HR related overall policies, systems and projects;
  • Develop and implement effective policies and practices to enhance HR services & standards across Asia;
  • Performing as a business partner, provide HR service and support in organizational structure, manpower planning, people development, recruitment, reward and performance management;
  • Also be responsible for areas like employee relations and communication as well as compliance and training on workplace safety and health;
  • Provide HR leadership to the country HR team in performing HR service effectively and promoting regional alignment;
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure HR initiatives and policies are communicated and followed; and
  • Prepare regular HR reports and analysis, including the ad hoc ones.

      Administration

  • Review, formulate and implement office administration policies and procedures to support business operation needs;
  • Oversee a regional team to provide professional office administration services to local offices in Asia;
  • Liaise and coordinate with vendors/service providers to ensure a quality service level with cost efficiency; and
  • Conduct contract renewal and related tendering process in office administration area.

 Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management or equivalent disciplines
  • Minimum 7 years’ solid experience in HR service, preferably in multinational companies
  • Well-versed with regional Employment Ordinance, employment taxation law and other related ordinance, including those in Hong Kong and China. Other regional ones are definitely plus
  • Have ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership, motivation and managerial skills
  • Flexibility, highly organized and able to handle multitasks
  • Excellent communication skills, open minded, proactive, detail-minded and analytical thinking
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Immediate availability is highly considered
