My client is a well-known global financial services group, with their rapid expansion and hunger for new talent in team, they are looking to recruit a high potential payroll candidate to monitor payroll operation, ensure accurate and timely processing of the company’s payroll in APAC.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire payroll process, from maintaining the system setups, through payroll tax deductions, equity processing, reconciliations, and reporting for a 800 regional payroll; reviewing and ensuring accuracy
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining policies and procedures for company-wide payroll processing and accounting
  • Partner closely with oversea HR Teams and Payroll vendors to ensure compliance with all corporate and country-specific policies and procedures
  • Drive end-to-end process improvements utilizing expertise of payroll, benefits, and tax procedures for continuous improvement; redesign operational procedures as needed to capitalize on efficiencies
  • Regular HR reporting, payroll audit, payroll data analysis for both internal and external requirements
  • Oversee the maintenance and reporting of data in the HRIS system
  • Partnering with HR, accounting, tax, legal and various other functional areas, to provide data and reports as needed and to ensure responsive resolution of employee payroll issues/inquiries
  • Create and analyze ad hoc reporting requests and special projects related to payroll and benefits
  • Participate in HR initiatives and ad hoc projects


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
  • 6-8 years of in-depth Payroll work experience overseeing complex domestic and regional payrolls required
  • Demonstrated success in managing a full end-to-end payroll process, HR Data Admin for a mid-size, global company
  • Solid vendor management experience
  • Good analytical, numerical sense, interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to details
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); advanced use of formulas and functions in Excel
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
