Regional IT Specialist

Our client, a leading international private equity advisory firms is looking for Regional IT Manager to join their team

The role will primarily cover these key areas of responsibility:

  • Work closely with service vendors to ensure continuity of service
  • Work with the global team to deploy IT best practices, governance, solutions and formulate IT security policies, standards and procedures
  • Help to rollout new products and services with the global IT team
  • Manage and negotiate local contracts with IT related vendors
  • Recommend changes and improvements to Asia IT systems
  • Provide desktop support and technical advice to users as needed, on-site and remotely
  • Perform day to day IT maintenance and management tasks - Monitor and keep track of inventory list of IT equipment, user management, etc.



Qualifications & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related Computer Studies discipline, or equivalent IT qualifications and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification IT experience, preferably in financial sector
  • Well versed in IT infrastructure, network & system management technologies.
  • Conversant with network and security technologies, in particular data protection
  • Able to manage IT systems across multiple countries
  • Design understanding of the Microsoft technology stack at both a desktop and server level (Windows 10, Office 2016, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange etc.)
  • Understanding of network topology, LAN, WAN, MPLS, switches, routers, firewalls
  • Security awareness at both a technical and business level
  • Proven supplier management skills
  • Excellent 1st to 3rd line support abilities and attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus
