The incumbent is the main contact person to the account as assigned on a local scale. He/She is in regular and close contact with the international Key Account Manager.


  • Develop and expand account relationship with clients’ contacts in Asia as well as with clients’ suppliers and actively coordinate regional vendor outreach activities.
  • Record and document Key Account related information (e.g. Key Account’s buyers, customer numbers, distribution countries, contact persons, revenue, order incoming/sales by month/quarter/year, project status, overdue payments, offered services).
  • Responsibility on optimization of service offerings, considering clients requirements (e.g. DETOX, Audits, etc.) and regular exchange in this regards with other Business streams and regional Sales dealing with clients orders.
  • Report and validate figures ( e.g. revenue, order incoming/sales by month/quarter/year,overdue payments, target setting) for clients in ASIA (GC, APAC) - Note: GC acting as Hub for ASIA
  • Supervision of account management processes. Develop specific local account sales strategy (eg. project forecast) and action plan for sales activities.
  • Governancial guidance in regards to Quality related preventive and corrective actions and Complaint Management.
  • Provide support to the program manager if needed to ensure documentation and follow up of the implementation of Key Account business processes.
  • Analyze research results of Customer‘s satisfaction and direct feedback from customers, and conclude corresponding measures.
  • Transparent communication of all clients related complaints to the GKAM (incl. clients’ supplier business) and implementation of preventive/ corrective action.
  • Contact point for other Business Streams in regards to clients related projects.
  • Act as single point of contact for clients’ orders in the region as well as to GKAM. Answer process related question in region, work closely together with other interfaces (e.g. TCC, Lab Manager, BF Managers, etc.) and help to find and provide solutions. Summarize Process related escalations to the GKAM with corresponding solution proposal(s).


  • University degree (Bachelor) any discipline, preferable economics, science or engineering
  • Min. 5 years experience as KA Manager with proven track record
  • Good knowledge both written and spoken English, Good knowledge of MS Office applications, Good presentation and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of TIC industry is of advantage
  • Sales background is preferable
