Regional Material Coordinator (6 month contract) - FMCG, MNC


Position Summary:
As a Regional Material Coordinator, you would be responsible to ensure product availability, through the execution the procurement plan for stock coming from the USA and other Copackers/CoMakers. Manage the day to day relationship with the 3PL, to ensure the product arrives within the time needed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create purchase order in system for finishing goods and packing material
  • Liaise with Factories/CoMakers/CoPackers about the shipment plan and follow the import documents to ensure on time arrived warehouse
  • Monitor orders coming from US.
  • Follow up on intercom sales orders and shipments.
  • Work together with the supply planner to ensure NPD and projects are executed with excellence.
  • Hanlde the custom declaration for import/export shipments
  • Create item master in the system
  • Closely monitor all SKU changeovers to ensure business is kept up to date on timings/requirements.
  • Help in the creation and update of Supply Planning Reports (FDOS, Inventory Projections, etc)
  • Handle adhoc tasks / project


  • University Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business Administration. Other disciplines with high analytical skills and experience in relevant areas may apply.
  • 2 -- 3 years supply chain experience in a FMCG environment.
  • Understanding and experience of wider supply chain processes

Technical skills:

  • Exposure to ERP System and any other Supply Planning systems, preferred.
  • Good knowledge of production environment, constraints and processes.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptionally organized with ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem solving ability and demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and advanced knowledge of Excel, including building and maintaining complex formulas
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to liaise and interface with a variety of individuals both within and outside the company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and balance priorities
