Regional Performance Analyst (MNC, SAS and VBA)

Job Overview: The Regional Performance Analyst will responsible for market and industry analysis including KPI analysis. You will report to the manager. This is a 6 months contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the reporting of market performances so as to assist both functional departments of head offices and worldwide offices in understanding the markets and facilitate their plan of actions
  • Monitor the industry and market environment for alignment in strategic direction and to assess the implications and recommend follow up actions for any special incident
  • Update the key performance indicators and monitor if any change in trending so that management can be alerted and take actions accordingly
  • Assess different modelling methodologies adopted by other NTOS and academic institutions and propose appropriate and timely factors in order to enhance the forecasting capabilities and accuracy
  • Maintain open and regular communication with the Research team to share ideas and exchange knowledge regarding the research methodology, questionnaire design, results reporting to achieve continuous improvement and ensure the research projects meet with the fast changing environment
  • Prepare business presentations and perform ad hoc studies or analysis so as to assist management in preparation for different Committee, Board meetings, trade consultations and engagements

Key Skills:

  • Degree holder preferably in Business Administration/Marketing/Statistics/Quantitative Analysis or equivalent
  • 4-6 years practical experience in strategic planning, marketing or business analysis
  • Strong PC skills, especially in MS office and statistical software e.g. SAS, SPSS
  • Proactive in sharing ideas and make suggestions, strong writing skills and able to make abstract concepts or complex topics into presentable ideas
  • Knowledge or experience in business model building will be an advantage
  • Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills and detail-minded
  • Meticulous, well organised and has ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Good command of both spoken and written Cantonese and English
  • Candidates with more experiences may be considered as Senior Analyst, Performance Analysis
