What does the role involve?

  • Develop, implement and continuously review a consistent social media strategy for various target groups of individuals (e.g., purchasers, Managing Directors, Site managers, Plant managers, …) within our customers’ organisations, i.e. contractors and specifiers
  • Define target audience, content, timing and means of communication for social media activities, including content roadmap and implementation processes and interfaces in alignment with other global/regional/local digital marketing activities
  • Develop/modify/ensure proper execution of the regional/local strategies in alignment with global strategies & guidelines (if applicable)
  • Manage and assess social media activities within the region North Asia (China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan), plus support local execution
  • Collaborate with global and local stakeholders from various departments to facilitate local execution and social media competence build up
  • Analyze target audiences to generate insights and share these with the local social media specialists and the rest of digital marketing team
  • Oversee asset/copy production and manage implementation, execution and post labelling in our social media management software (falcon publish/engage)

What you need is:

  • 3+ years social media marketing experience
  • Proven track record of building and managing communities on social media through the use of highly relevant and engaging content, as well as exceptional community management
  • Working knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, WeChat, and YouTube is a must. Understanding of additional social media channels is an advantage
  • Experience with Social Media Management tools is useful. Previous experience with is highly desired
  • Successful, professional marketing or digital marketing and social media experience in a technical/industrial and/or B2B environment
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and one other North Asian language is a must
  • Team player with experience working with technology, marketing, and international staff in a fast-paced, flexible environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and communicate effectively with cross functional team members (local and international) within the organization
  • A creative mind, an eye for detail as well as an outstanding feeling for wording and a data-driven approach to problem solving
  • A proactive, honest and self-reliant personality, critical thinking, pragmatic, and superb project management skills
