Relations Manager

What You'll Do
  • Develop a communications plan of Hong Kong and Taiwan market including strategy, goals, budget and tactics;
  • Develop local (Hong Kong and Taiwan) media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media;
  • Coordinate all public relations activities in Hong Kong and Taiwan;
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests
  • Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basisF
  • Identify issues and alert local stakeholders immediately, coordinate to handle the crisis;
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness

Who You Are
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years communications or PR experience
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage activities from inception through execution.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of audiences.
  • Fluency in English, Chinese is required.
  • Ability and desire to successfully work within international cultures and communities.
High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrated success in complex/matrix environments.
