Objectives
To expand sector coverage and deepen existing client relationships with increased wallet share
To formulate, execute and review account plans enabling effective cross-selling
Develop, execute, and monitor key account plans
Cross-sell across geographies and across products to maximize revenue and ROE
Ensure that the bank’s policies, risk, credit and compliance procedures are met
Responsibilities
Develop marketing plans, manage / deepen existing client relationships and call on target customers
Evaluate and assess credit risks and structure / execute bankable deals
Acquire and develop industry/sector specific expertise
Cross sell and promote products and services of GTS, Treasury & Markets, DCM, ECM and other products of DBS Group
Maximize relationship revenue / ROE across products and geographies
Perform regulated activities, type 1 and 4 specified under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO)
Comply with the registered capacity as well as any conditions imposed by the HKMA and other regulatory bodies. This includes compliance with the applicable requirements of the Code of conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the SFC
Achieve individual performance KPIs as agreed with supervising manager
Requirements
University graduate with major in either Banking, Finance or Accounting with 7+ years' experience in Corporate banking
Must be registered RI (Regulated Activities: Type 1 and 4) with passes in relevant HKSI Licensing Examination Papers, or equivalent
Knowledge of a broad scope of banking products including Cash and Trade, Treasury, Debt and Equity Capital Markets, M&A and other investment banking products
Experience in cross-selling cash and trade, treasury, capital markets and investment banking products
Good credit risk assessment skills
Industry and sector knowledge
Good interpersonal and communication skill
Sound products & industry knowledge
Core Level certification under Enhanced Competency Framework on Credit Risk Management (subject to relevant grace period)
