The appointee will support two to three research projects in the broad areas of cognitive and developmental psychology. He/she is required to do literature search, liaise with schools, parents, and government and non-government organisations, construct test material, recruit participants, administer testing and experiments, process data, and perform any other research-related duties as assigned. The appointment will be for an initial period of 6 months with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or a related discipline. He/she should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, good command of written and spoken in both English and Chinese (including Cantonese), self-motivation, and the ability to work independently, preferably with some experience in programming and using different statistical packages.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave and outpatient medical benefits.
