The appointee will be responsible for providing administrative and research support to a research project on pre-service teacher education. He/she will work with university teacher trainers and students to learn their needs and goals, provide administrative support to the project, provide support for teacher development in second language education, conduct data collection and analysis, prepare project reports, and perform other duties assigned by Project Principal Investigators. The appointment will be for 12 months with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
Applicants should have Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Linguistics, or related disciplines, preferably with a Master’s Degree; a masterful command of written and spoken English; a reasonably good command of spoken and written Chinese (Putonghua or Cantonese); proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; willingness to learn new skills; a strong sense of responsibility; and good interpersonal skills. Relevant working experiences and interests in language teacher education are highly preferable.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
