Project title: UGC Special Grant for Strategic Development of Virtual Teaching and Learning

[Appointment Period: 10 months]

The appointee will participate in a teaching development project aims to explore alternative modes of conducting science experiments with students through online course delivery. He/she will assist the Project Leaders and course instructors who participated in the project to explore the application of various technologies such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), scientific simulation platforms and other video making and editing techniques in converting science experiments into interactive online modules. The initial appointment will be for a period of about 10 months.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Creative Media, Information Technology, Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related disciplines, and good command of written and spoken English. Knowledge, skills and experiences in video making and editing are essential. They should also be a good team player, attentive to details, highly self-motivated and able to work under pressure.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
