The appointee will assist in conducing machine learning and deep learning research with applications in education and other areas. The duties of the appointee will include writing computer programs, conducting literature review, conducting data analyses and other tasks as assigned. The initial appointment will be for a period of around 8 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics or related disciplines. They should have good programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, and/or R and show interest in machine learning. Ideal candidates should be proficient in reading and writing English, self-motivated and able to work independently. Previous experience in machine learning research and Linux environment will be an advantage.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
