The appointee will be responsible for running projects related to clinical and educational psychology. Duties include, but not limited to, literature review, data collection and analysis, drafting research reports, etc. The appointee is also expected to perform administrative support to the Principal Investigator and the research unit. There will be a chance for manuscript writing and publications. The appointee will also have the chance to help with outreaching to the community to promote mental health, as well as communicating with clients who seeks psychological services from the clinical practitioners in the research team. The appointment will be for a 6-month period from February 2020, with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related discipline. He/she should have good command of English and Chinese, and competency in academic writing. He/she should be responsible, organized and attentive to details. Applicants have experience with/are confident to learn EEG/ERP technique and psychophysiological research, preferably with experience using software (e.g. SPSS, E-prime, MPlus, R, EEGLAB, MatLLAB, etc.) to perform data analysis.
