The appointee will be responsible for assisting in conducting research (Topic: Removal Mechanisms of Selected Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs) in Designer Biochar-enhanced Bioreactors) and performing any other duties as assigned. The appointment will be for a period of around 24 months with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably a Master’s Degree or a Doctoral Degree in Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Science with evidence of scholarship, example of research outputs and extensive research experience in related disciplines. They should have a strong research background with good track record of journal publication, an excellent organizational, interpersonal as well as communication skills. They should also be able to multi-tasking, work under tight deadlines, and work both independently and as a team. Applicants have an excellent command of written English and Chinese and experience in academic research is highly desirable.
