The appointee will assist the project leader and other project members in research activities that include general project planning, liaison with elderly community centres and other organisations, participant recruitment, conducting exercise classes, data collection, and perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader and other project members. The initial appointment will be for a period of 12 months with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
Applicants should have Level 2 or equivalent or above in 5 subjects including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics in the HKDSE; or Grade E (Level 2) or above in 5 subjects including Chinese, English (Syllabus B) and Mathematics in HKCEE or equivalent. Applicants with a Post-secondary Degree, preferably in the areas of health, sport, physical education or a related discipline will be an advantage. He/she should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese), self-motivation, and the ability to work independently. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in supporting research and exercise training programmes.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
