The appointee will be responsible for providing support to a research study on Mathematics. He/she will assist the Principal Investigator in computer programming, literature search, word processing and performing any other duties as assigned. The appointment will be for a period of around two months.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or other related disciplines. They should be highly proficient in both English and Chinese; with competency in report writing, and good problem-solving and communication skills. Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge of common computer programming languages, advanced mathematics software (e.g. Maple) and Latex. Immediate availability is preferred.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave and outpatient medical benefits.
