The appointee will assist in conducting various mental health related research projects and be involved in all stages of the research process under the supervision of a health psychologist. He/she will be responsible for handling participant recruitment, monitoring participants’ conditions, and coordinating student helpers for various research projects. Besides, he/she will also assist in literature review, data collection, participant interviews, liaison with collaborators and organizations, management and analysis of research data, and manuscript/report writing. The appointment will be for a period of 12 months, commencing May 2018, with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from a recognized university. He/she should interest in conducting research on mental illness recovery and mental health promotion; a community-based and interdisciplinary mindset. He/she should also have good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); knowledge in research methods, advanced statistics, and using SPSS. They should be enthusiasm, self-motivation, and able to work independently and under pressure; and strong commitment to creating social change through high quality research.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
