We are seeking a Research Assistant in the Department of Psychology. The appointee will be responsible for running projects on cognition of language and reading. Main duties include preparing experimental materials, data collection, and preliminary data analysis. He/she is also expected to perform administrative support to the Principal Investigator(s) and the research team. The appointment will be for a period of 12 months with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or other related fields. Experience in psycholinguistics research, eye tracking (Eyelink system)/EEG and data collection of children will be an advantage. Applicants should be proficient in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and interpersonal skills. Familiar with relevant softwares (e.g., MPlus, R) are essential.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
