Research Associate / Research Assistant
The appointees will support the operation of the research centres under the Institute of International Business and Governance; assist in the organization of the attachment programme, workshops, conferences and other related activities; support the Distinguished Professors in their respective research activities during their visits and subsequent follow-up work; assist academic staff in research activities; offer administrative support and perform other duties as assigned.
Applicants should possess a recognized Master’s degree; the ability to work independently; an investigative nature, good analytical and communication skills in both English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua) as well as a detail-minded work attitude. Good knowledge of statistical software (e.g., SPSS) and experience in conducting academic research projects and developing database is preferred. Enthusiasm in academic writing will be an advantage. Applicants without a Master’s degree will be considered for the post of Research Assistant.
Terms of Appointment
Successful candidates will be appointed on a full-time fixed term contract. Fringe benefits will include annual leave, medical & dental benefits and gratuity, where applicable.
