The School of Business is seeking for a suitable candidate to take up the role of a laboratory coordinator in providing support for setting up the Behavioural Research Laboratory to host research studies. The appointee will provide hardware and software supports, including monitoring the operations and its facilities in the laboratory. Other duties include assisting in communication and coordination with users, preparing reports and conducting periodic review of the regulations and procedures for the laboratory.

Requirements and preferable attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Prior research-related experience is preferred but not essential;
  • Knowledge in using softwares, such as Sona system, Inquisit, MediaLab and Eye tracker would be an advantage;
  • Good communication skills and detail-minded;
  • Responsible, self-motivated and be able to work independently; and
  • Fresh graduate is also welcome.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
