Responds to communications from guests, travel agents, and referral networks concerning reservations arriving by email, telephone, fax, or through a booking system. Creates and maintains reservation records-usually by date of arrival and alphabetical listing prepares letters of confirmation and promptly processes any cancellations and modifications. Responsible for the day-to-day general administration of the organization and supporting the staff team.

 Responsibilities :

  • Processes reservations by email, telephone, fax or reservations systems referral
  • Processes reservations from the front office, other hotel departments, and travel agents
  • Creates and maintains reservation records by date of arrival and alphabetical listing
  • Processes cancellations and modifications and promptly relays this information to the front desk
  • Prepares expected arrival list for front office use
  • Handles daily correspondence. Responds to inquires and makes reservations as needed
  • Open and close the availability as and when required of hotel in all the booking channels and booking engine on the hotel website
  • Provide general administrative support to staff team

 Requirements :

  • Certificate/ Diploma in Hotel Management is preferable
  • Minimum 1 year of Reservations Department experience (Prefer but not required)
  • Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Familiar with MS Office operation including Word, Excel, Chinese word processing
