Reservations Manager (Hotel)

  • Ensure all kind of reservations requests, amendments and cancellations as well as for different profiles are properly, promptly and corrected linked and entered in Opera PMS
  • To implement room inventory control & selling strategies as directed from Director of Revenue and eBusiness
  • To monitor the development of forecasted occupancy on a daily basis and acts / decide accordingly to ensure maximum occupancy at an average room rate in line with the budget
  • Ensure all correspondences for reservations are replied promptly, correctly and professionally
  • To handle guest’s comments and complaints in related to Reservation issue effectively
  • To conduct on-the-job training of job tasks and service skills to the Reservation team
  • To develop the Reservation team to ensure the constant delivery of excellent guest service
  • To recruit, select and train team members


  • Diploma holder in Hospitality Management or related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience with previous experience n supervising a reservation team
  • Independent and resourceful with good leadership skills and organization skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective long-term relationships
  • Passion for team coaching and development
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Opera PMS and SiteMinder system
  • Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Immediate available is preferable
