Resident Assistant Clerk of Works (RACOW)

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

  • Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies from the Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Technical College/ Hong Kong Technical Institute / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent, AND;
  • 5 years’ relevant post-qualification site supervisory experience including 3 years’ experience as an Assistant Clerk of Works, AND;
  • Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2* or above in English Language and Chinese Language in Hong Kong Certificate of Education Exam (HKCEE) / Hong Kong Diploma of secondary education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent. 

[Note * Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.]

The above appointments are on contract basis [Tentative Employment Period: November 2017 to October2019]. Remuneration will include basic monthly salary and a gratuity of 15% of the total basic salary payable upon successful and satisfactory completion of the employment contract.
