Responsible Officer (Type 9)

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business or related field
  • Minimum 5 years solid experience in fund operation management
  • Previous experience in setting up new asset management platform
  • Holder of SFC RO License Type 9 required
  • Good command of written and spoken in English and Chinese
including Putonghua
Job Duties:
  • Act as Responsible Officer to supervise Type 9 regulated activity
(asset management) as defined under Securities & Futures Ordinance
(SFO)
  • Overall supervision of fund operation to ensure the compliance with
the company policies, statutory rules and regulations
  • Develop and train employees; conduct timely performance reviews and
quality feedbacks
  • Assist in generating and reporting office performance metrics on a
regular basis
  • Provide assistance in communicating with SFC and other pertinent
regulators
  • Perform forecasting and scheduling to optimized operations
  • Assist in writing and maintaining proper documentation of all
operations, policies, and procedures, including operational and risk
control procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
